If you want to create apparel patterns, this is the book for you.

Buy this book! It will unravel the mysteries of making apparel patterns. I have two college degrees plus advanced studies in apparel design. Yet Suzy Furrer's patternmaking methods opened my eyes and made the process of patterning a pleasure. I have since used her methods to create my own line of garments -- StudioSKB. Her book is the text for my patterning classes at Art Institute of Portland and Portland Sewing. From moulage to slopers to creating designs, the step-by-step instructions are easy to use and understand. It simply makes sense!

Suzy Furrer has done a wonderful job! This is a "must have" compendium for the serious pattern drafting student as well as the avid hobbyist. I have been using and teaching this method for years and the product is always a superbly drafted garment that hangs well and flatters the figure. Thank you, Suzy, for all your hard work!!!
